"Love" by Pitch Black Ribbons

So, as it turns out those ISIS imbeciles don't really like music. Who'd have guessed? And they don't really like alcohol. In fact, they don't seem to like much at all except some bullshit violent version of an austere, ignorant, religious existence... if you can call that an existence at all. After all, what did they target in Paris? Concert halls and places to eat and drink and enjoy life. Those are the sort of things that ISIS wants to stop us all from doing.

Well... guess what we did this past weekend! Yep, that's right, we played music and drank beer while people ate great food and drank and generally enjoyed life. We think you should do that too. This is a situation where picking up a guitar is an act of defiance! Cranking up some tunes is a raised fist against a wannabe theocracy!

We've seen the “Pray for Paris” hashtag and all the social media around it. It's a nice sentiment. But we think that maybe what we need is less religion, not more. We think we need some real action in the world. Some deeds, not more prayers. Some melody, not silent meditation. So rather than praying for Paris, we think everybody ought to PLAY FOR PARIS! Sing. Dance. Raise a glass, have a gas, man! Turn up the amps, and rock out with your hairy heathen locks out! Do it while you are yet free ... Jes suis Paris. Keep doing that, and they can never win.

Pen is to sword as guitar is to gun. Remember that.

And here... enjoy a song!
